Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To efficiently decompose an org. halogen compd. by induction heating a metal cylinder provided in a chamber comprising an insulating material, and introducing an org. halogen compd. to this chamber. CONSTITUTION:High frequency current is supplied from a high frequency power source 3 to an induction heating coil 4 to effect induction heating of a metal cylinder 2. If this metal cylinder 2 consists of platinum, the cylinder 2 can be heated as high as about 1700 deg.C. In this state, fixed delivery pumps 6, 7, are operated to suck the org. halogen compd. in a container 8 to be decomposed and water in a container 9, and them to introduce them to the metal cylinder 2 through a tube 5. The water and org. halogen compd. introduced to the bottom of the metal cylinder 2 are vaporized at one time and made to react while passed through the metal cylinder 2 heated at high temp. The waste gas containing molecules produced by the reaction and decomposition in the reaction chamber 1 is introduced to a neutralizer 11 through a ventillation tube 10.
