Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To efficiently decompose an org. halogen compd. with a simple constitution by introducing the org. halogen compd. to a chamber and decomposing the org. halogen compd. in a high-temp. state given by resistance heating of a heater. CONSTITUTION:High frequency current is supplied from a high frequency power source 6 to an induction heating coil 5 to perform induction heating of a heater container 4. Then, heater current is supplied from a power source 3 to the resistance heater 2 to raise the temp. as high as about 1700 deg.C. In this state, fixed delivery pumps 9, 10 are operated to suck the org. halogen compd. in a container 11 to be decomposed and water in a container 12, and then to introduce them to the heater container 4 through tubes 7, 8, respectively. The org. halogen compd. and water introduced in the heater container 4 are rapidly vaporized at one time and then made to react while passed through the resistance heater 2 at high temp.
