SELF-DIAGNOSTIC DEVICE

PURPOSE:To diagnose even a device which has a complicate function and performs complicate operation without any special knowledge by providing a means which stores data on a diagnostic menu, discrimination reference data, etc. CONSTITUTION:When the 'diagnostic' key of an operation part 1 is operated, this device enters self-diagnostic mode and the self-diagnostic menu stored in a memory part 2 is read out. The read data is made into a display signal by a display signal generation part 4 through a control part 6 and the signal is displayed on the screen, etc., of the monitor of a display part 5. Then when 'execution' key is operated, a check list of switches which is read out of the memory part 2 is displayed on the screen, etc., of the monitor of the display part 5. A discriminating part 3 compares the result of operation with the discrimination reference data stored in the memory part 2 to decide whether the switches function normally or not.
