ROTARY KILN WITH SAMPLING DEVICE

PURPOSE:To obtain accurate data for attaining an easy explanation of reduction mechanism and improving the quality of products and the combustion efficiency by a method wherein a content sampling device and a furnace gas sampling device are provided on the side wall of a rotary kiln at a specified distance. CONSTITUTION:When an inner cylinder 7 is inserted into a rotary kiln by a motor cylinder 13 mounted at an end outside the rotary kiln, a sample of the content is taken into an opening 7a of the inner cylinder 7. Then, when the inner cylinder 7 is pulled toward the outside of the rotary kiln, the high temperature sample is primarily sealed by an outer cylinder 6 and the inner cylinder 7, led from an opening 7b of the outer cylinder 6 to a branch pipe 6a, secondarily sealed by a take-out part consisting of a seal valve 8a, a flexible tube 9 and a seal valve 8b, and accommodated in a cooling box 11 filled with an inert gas. As the cooling box 11 is filled with the inert gas, the sample is prevented from being oxidized and from generating dust.
