PURPOSE:To enhance the presentation effect at superimposition by superimposing an audio data stored in advance in an audio data storage means 25 onto an audio signal generated simultaneously as a video signal in the case of superimposition by the audio data storage means 25. CONSTITUTION:An image light formed on a solid-state image pickup element 2 via an image pickup lens 1 is converted into an electric image pickup signal, and it is fed to an image pickup signal processing circuit 3. A video signal outputted from a video superimposition circuit 5 is fed to a video recording processing circuit 7 and fed to a video monitor output terminal 8. An audio signal picked up by a microphone 21 is fed to an audio signal processing circuit 22 and fed to a lst fixed contact 31 of an audio changeover switch 30. When an operation key 42 is depressed, a melody stored in the audio memory 25 is read and superimposed on the audio signal by an audio mixer circuit 24. An audio signal prepared in advance corresponding to the title is inserted to the video image during pickup. Thus, the presentation effect at superimposition is easily enhanced.
