INTERFACE FUNCTION AUTOMATIC SETTING DEVICE

PURPOSE:To cancel complicatedness in the setting of the function of an interface by storing previously a selecting condition from a main processor when the setting is decided not to be completed yet at the time a function setting mode, and at the time of a normal mode, selecting and setting the function by comparing the stored selecting condition with an operation instruction from the main processor with each other. CONSTITUTION:A mode switching circuit 21 validates a group selection circuit 22 by a function setting mode selection signal, and the group selection circuit 22 selects a group based on information on an address bus 3. A selecting condition storage circuit 24 fetches the information on the address bus 3 and a data bus 4 sent from the main processor 1 at the time of setting the selecting condition, and holds its contents. On the other hand, the comparison/selection circuit 25 of a normal operation circuit 27 selects data on the address bus by comparing it with the contents held in the selecting condition storage circuit 24, and generates and sends a signal necessary for normal operation. Thus, since all switches need not be set at all, trouble due to the setting error of the switches can be entirely excluded.
