PURPOSE:To make a sealed cell, whose overall height is trued up, securable in a stable manner, by installing an overall-level control mechanism which adjusts height of a press rod moving up and down independently to a die holder. CONSTITUTION:A gauge head of a test indicator is applied to an upper part at the outer circumferential side of an adjusting screw 66 making up a part of an overall-level control mechanism, and when this screw 66 is turned round with a spanner engager 71 attached to a right end face of the screw 66, a knockout holder 59 moves upward or downward by an eccentric shaft 68 pivoted on a left end face of the screw 66, and with this movement, a knockout 60 moves up and down. In consequence, height of a cell is adjustable to the specified size while watching graduations of the said indicator. After adjustment, pressure is applied to a clamping element 72 whereby the screw 66 can be clamped to the specified position. This operation is also performed as to the knockout holder into which other knockouts are inserted, whereby a sealed cell, whose overall height is trued up, is securable in a stable manner.
