METHOD FOR LAYING CABLE WITH TWIST BY USING FORCIBLY ROTATED METALLIC WHEEL AND FORCIBLY ROTATED METALLIC WHEEL

PURPOSE:To mechanize cable twisting work and perform the work simultaneously with cable laying work by fitting forcibly rotated metallic wheels which give twists to a cable in the length direction of the cable to electric poles and laying the cable with a prescribed number of twists. CONSTITUTION:Forcibly rotated metallic wheels 441-444 are fixed to electric poles 321-324. The motors 60 of the wheels 44 are respectively connected to motor controllers 521-524. One end of a pulling rope 31 is fitted to the take-up sheave 35 of a take-up winch 30 and the other end of the rope 31 is connected with the leading end of a cable 29 by means of a connecting fixture 34 after the rope 31 is passed on the wheels 44. The cable 29 is laid between each electric pole 321-324 by driving the winch 30. The number of twists to be give to the cable 29 is calculated to each controller 521-524 and the cable 29 is twisted by the prescribed numbers of time by controlling the rotating speeds of the forcible rotated metallic wheels 441-444. After the cable 29 is laid, the cable 29 is fixed to the fixtures 361-364 of the poles 321-324. Therefore, the cable 29 is laid with the prescribed numbers of twists.
