Zusammenfassung:	A process for the preparation of a compound according to claim 1, comprising reacting a compound of the formula in which R3, R4 and R5 each independently is CH3 or CH2Cl, at least one of the radicals R3, R4 and R5 being CH2Cl, with a metal fluoride at elevated temperature. The products are new and useful as intermediates for making other compounds, especially carbamate insecticide synergists.
