Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To obtain the title metallic yarn useful as clothing, having excellent gloss, scouring resistance and washing resistance by bonding specific two laminates through an adhesive layer in such a way that a transparent plastic film is laid outside and slitting. CONSTITUTION:Two laminates, wherein an undercoating layer 2 of a transparent resin (e.g. acrylic resin), a first antimony oxide thin film layer 3 having preferably 20-80nm uneven thickness, a transparent intermediate layer 4, a second antimony oxide thin film layer 5 and a topcoating layer 6 of a transparent resin are laid in this order on one side of a transparent plastic film (e.g. polyester) 1, are bonded through an adhesive (e.g. urethane resin base) layer 7 in such way that the transparent plastic film 1 is set outside and slit into 0.15-2mm width to give the objective metallic yarn.
