PARTS-CONTAINING ZONE

PURPOSE:To prevent the deflection of a carrier tape and to improve reliability by fixing housings each provided with a parts-containing recess at equal spaces in a beltlike body and by fastening the housing in such manner that one fixed fastening part can be moved on the basis of the other fixed fastening part on both sides of the recess. CONSTITUTION:L-shaped fastening parts 3e, 3f of a package 3 are formed in the manner of passing between the end faces of fixed side fastening long hole 2e and moving side fastening notch 2g and the cavity faces of a metal mold and flowing into the metal mold. When the temperature of a composite-molded package 3 returns to an ordinary temperature, the package shrinks in the direction of the arrow D on the basis of the fixed side fastening long hole 2e longitudinally of a carrier tape 2 and like the arrow E from both directions on the basis of locating lugs 2d, 2f in the width direction of the carrier tape. Thus, the deflection of the carrier tape 2 by the shrinkage at the time of molding is prevented and the pitch of feed holes 2a are maintained accurately so that parts can be supplied in a constant posture, with good accuracy and in a supply position.
