ELECTRONIC STILL CAMERA

PURPOSE:To improve the picture quality by forming a converted data for the data conversion to generate a still picture with only a data picked up from an object at image pickup without a time difference. CONSTITUTION:An odd-numbered field data 414 and an even-numbered field data 415 transferred to a frame memory 9 are stored respectively frame memories as data 40, 41 under the control of a control data 413 of a memory control circuit 11. Then the odd number field data 414 stored in the frame memory 9 is transferred to a digital signal processing section 13 by a transfer instruction 413 of the memory control circuit 11 and three-primary color conversion and synthesis is applied to the data. Thus, the quality of the still picture is improved.
