ANTENNA

PURPOSE:To attain miniaturization, to reduce the cost and to setting the directivity optionally by winding each of plural conductors in spiral so as to reduce the apparent length of the conductors forming the antenna and arranging each conductor on a same plane. CONSTITUTION:Four conductors 6 wound respectively in spiral to be shaped cylindrically are mounted on a board 7, each one end 6a of the conductors 6 is connected in common to a feeder 8, and the conductors 6 are arranged almost in a shape of a cross in the antenna 5. The board 7 is a square board whose one side is nearly 60mm. The antenna 5 is mounted on a radio receiver 10. Since the conductors 6 each wound in spiral are employed for the antenna 5, the antenna 5 is made small and inexpensive, and since the conductors 6 are arranged on a plane as a cross (they are directed at a right angle each other), omnidirectivity is attained and thin profile is realized.
