MICROWAVE OVEN

PURPOSE:To make it possible to protect the front of a microwave oven from exhaust air emitted from the oven side and simplify the piping layout of an exhaust line without sophisticated bending work by installing an air passage for the oven, which connects the upper part and the lower part of the oven, to the rear of the oven. CONSTITUTION:An opening section 13a is formed on the side of an exhaust port 19c in the rear of an oven 13 where the opening section 13a is communicated with the exhaust port 19c by way of a middle pipe 22. Furthermore, the opening section 13a is provided with a single pipe 23 which projects downward. The opening section 13a, the middle pipe 22, the exhaust port 19c, and the single pipe 23 forms an air passage 24, which connects the oven into top and bottom. A connection pipe 25 is slidingly fitted into the single pipe so that its projection length may be adjusted. When an oven 26 is mounted with the lower part of a microwave oven 11, the connection pipe 25 is fitted into an exhaust port 26a located in the rear part of the oven. The gas generated in an oven chamber is discharged from the rear of the oven 13 by way of the air passage 24.
