PURPOSE:To prevent an adherent junction portion from being destructed by binding a terminal metal fitting in its radial direction using a binding ring of high elasticity characteristic which is inscribed to the terminal metal fitting at low temperatures, when a pipe is inserted into the terminal metal fitting. CONSTITUTION:A terminal metal fitting 3 made of e.g. a titanium alloy or aluminium alloy, etc., is inserted into the end portion of a pipe 2 made of CFRP and is joined thereto by an adhesive. A binding ring 5 is stickingly mounted to the inner periphery of the end portion of that portion of the shell portion 4 of the terminal metal fitting 3 which is laid on the pipe 2. The coefficient of thermal expansion of the pipe 2 is made smaller than that of the terminal metal fitting 3 and the pipe 2 and the terminal metal fitting 3 are pressed and fixed to each other in their radial direction at high temperatures, while at low temperatures stress is exerted in the direction in which the adherent junction portion of the metal fitting 3 and the pipe 2 is peeled. At low temperatures the terminal metal fitting 3 is bound from inside by the binding ring 5 so as to prevent excessive stress from being generated on the adherent junction portion of the pipe 2 and the terminal metal fitting 3 and also prevent the portion from being destructed.
