COLOR PRINTED MATTER

PURPOSE:To enhance the strength of an ink transport layer by infiltrating a resin in the surface of the transport layer of recorded matter having an image formed thereto by applying an ink droplet to a material to be recorded having an ink holding layer and an ink transport layer. CONSTITUTION:An ink holding layer and an ink transport layer are formed to a light pervious base material by respectively applying coating solutions prepared by dissolving or dispersing materials in a proper solvent to the base material, for example, by a roll coating method and rapidly drying the coated layers. As the resin infiltrated in the ink transport layer, a high-molecular compound capable of being infiltrated in the surface or interior of the ink transport layer as a solution or dispersion not deteriorated with the elapse of time, for example, a vinyl acetate resin or a vinyl chloride resin is used. This resin is infiltrated in the surface of the ink transport layer of color recorded matter in a form of a solution, a dispersion or an emulsion. In this case, any solvent or dispersant can be used but an org. solvent insoluble to a recording agent is pref. in order not to generate the blur of a color image. The solution and/or dispersion containing the resin is infiltrated in the ink transport layer of color printed matter by a spray coating method.
