Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To simplify an analyzer and to determine the amount of the specified component in a sample by simple operation on the field site by selectively splitting the light which mutually acts with the sample to be analyzed with the sample, and detecting the intensity of the split light. CONSTITUTION:Lubricating oil to be analyzed is inputted into a sample container 3. The output signals of photodetectors 7, 7', 7'', Y''' and 7''' which receive the light beams after splitting are inputted into a processing circuit 10. At first, the output values of the first and fifth photodetectors 7 and 7''' are the wavelengths which are not absorbed with the sample and are handled as the wavelengths indicating the data based on the scattering from the sample. The amount of the suspension material of the sample is computed based on the output values of the photodetectors 7 and 7''' and the relationship between the amount of suspension material stored in a memory and the output values. The amount is displayed on a display device 16. At this time, the amount of the scattered light has the constant relation with the wavelength. The amount of the scattered light can be accurately obtained by performing measurement in two wavelength regions. Thus, the amount of the suspension material can be obtained more accurately.
