CIRCUIT ELEMENT RETRIEVAL SYSTEM

PURPOSE:To reduce the man-hour of generation of a large scale circuit and to improve the quality of a circuit diagram by providing a means which displays a circuit element on an automatically generated circuit diagram by retrieving from a functional element by referring to a retrieval key attached when the circuit diagram is automatically generated. CONSTITUTION:This system is equipped with an input device 1, an output device 2, an arithmetic processor 3, a data recorder 4, and a circuit element retrieval mecha nism 5. After functional diagram information is inputted from the input device 1, and the functional diagram is displayed on the output device 2, the functional element C to be retrieved is retrieved and designated from the input device 1. When the func tional element C is designated, circuit element information (f), (i), and (k) are extracted from retrieval key information by a retrieval key setting the functional element C as a key, thence, the circuit diagram to be retrieved is extracted, and the circuit elements (f), (i), and (k) are retrieved from the circuit diagram. When the circuit ele ment is retrieved, the circuit diagram is displayed on the output device 2, and retrieved circuit elements (f), (i), and (k) are displayed by enhancing in thick line frames. There by, it is possible to reduce the man-hours of generation of the large scale circuit and to improve the quality of the circuit diagram.
