Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To improve fire resistance, heat insulating property and mechanical strength by arranging porous members made of a fireproof oxide having a prescribed m.p. and a prescribed void volume in a honeycomb shape and pouring castable refractories. CONSTITUTION:Porous members made of a fireproof oxide having 69-95% void volume and >=2,000 deg.C m.p. are arranged in a honeycomb shape in two or more layers and castable refractories are poured to form a fireproof heat insulating material. This material is applied to a permanent layer in the form of blocks to obtain a fireproof heat insulating structure.
