CONSTITUTION:An original is read by a reading part 31. For the picture data, a CPU32a compares the communication charge A using a telephone circuit with the communication charge B using an STOC network to decide an expensive circuit. Then the CPU32a performs the automatic dial transmission of a call number and selects a circuit of low communication charge via a circuit control part 33 to perform the facsimile communication.
