TRAVEL TIME OFFERING DEVICE

PURPOSE:To obtain travel time required for travel between arbitrary two points in real time by considering a traffic state by finding travel time by dividing a distance between the two points by the mean speed of a mobile body, and correcting the travel time calculated corresponding to the change of the travel time. CONSTITUTION:The trip time offering device is equipped with a detecting means 2 provided on the travel route of the mobile body and detects the travel speed of the mobile body at every time decided in advance, and a calculation means 4 which calculates the travel time based on detected speed data and distance data between the two points, and calculated travel time is corrected based on the time change of the calculated travel time. In other words, the trip time on a block after the lapse of constant time can be predicted from the transition of satisfactory time at every block. Thereby, the travel time on which the change of traffic status from a past time to the present time is added and with high reliability can be obtained.
