Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To present a picture signal processor which suppresses the occurrence of a false outline. CONSTITUTION:The output of an LPF 1 which strongly limits the band in the case of input of a signal having a low luminance level and gently changing and that of an LPF 2 which weakly limits the band in the case of input of a signal having a high luminance level of an edge part are selected and outputted by a switch 106 by the output of a luminance information detecting circuit 107 which detects the luminance level and the outline component. Thus, the luminance signal which has the false outline suppressed is obtained in the output terminal of a D-A converter 109.
