FAULT PROCESSOR

PURPOSE:To offer fault processing technique capable of rapidly executing the sampling of log data and fault processing without generating a delay even when faults are frequently generated. CONSTITUTION:A fault processor 2 interposed between an information processor group 1 consisting of plural information processors and a service processor 3 is constituted of plural information processor status tables 211 to 21n capable of identifying respective fault parts, a fault part judging part 22 for judging respective fault parts based upon the tables 211 to 21n and determining the volume of log data, plural log areas 241 to 24n corresponding to respective log data volume values, plural log area managing tables 251 to 25n indicating respective using states of the log areas 241 to 24n, a log area judging part 23 for judging whether the log areas 241 to 24n can be used or not, a log data sampling part 26 for sampling log data when the log areas 241 to 24n can be used, and a fault processing part 27 for outputting a log data storing request to the service processor 3 and executing fault recovering processing.
