DUST REMOVING DEVICE

PURPOSE:To improve dust collecting efficiency with a water-passing area increased and also remedy water-passing troubles due to blinding by forming a net type screen into corrugation and providing wire gauze for through holes or opening parts on a side plate. CONSTITUTION:A screen main body 32 of a corrugated net is formed to be fitted to a screen frame. At that time, a screen main body 32 is made corrugation along a direction orthogonal to a moving direction A by a link chain, and is formed in an irregular state on a surface facing a water-passing direction F to be provided. Next, mounting plates 34 and 36 to upper and lower beams 15 and 17 are formed into corrugation similar to the screen main body 32, and are joined with screws, etc., at abutting parts to respective beams 15 and 17 to be fixed. Then a side plate 19 is provided with many through holes 19a to be installed in a waterway. Here, dust such as jellyfishes together with flowing water reaches the screen main body 32, and is moved along a tilted surface by the action of the flowing water to be concentratively collected in the recessed parts of the screen main body 32. Water-passing resistance in the recessed parts is reduced with water-passing in the recessed parts smoothed.
