APPARATUS FOR SCRAPING OUT CULTURE BASE

PURPOSE:To enable the scraping out of culture base from a bottle in an extremely high efficiency and to remarkably improve the work efficiency by vertically reciprocating a scraping blade with an amplitude corresponding to the height of the bottle or thereabout while rotating the blade, thereby thrusting the blade into the culture base and pulling out the base from the bottle. CONSTITUTION:A scraping blade 28 is lifted by lifting a vertical reciprocation table 50 and the blade part 62 is introduced into a culture base. Since the blade is forced outward with a spring 64 in the above operation, the blade is lifted along the inner wall of the bottle 14. The tip end of the blade part 62 is bent upward in the rotational direction and the extreme tip is bent slightly inward from the inner wall of the bottle to effect the rotation of the scraping blade 58. The blade part is introduced into the base along an almost spiral orbit in such a manner as to be thrust toward the center of the base. When the scraping blade 58 is lowered, the base is drawn downward in a state being held with the blade part, crushed in the course of the lowering motion, dropped from the mouth of the bottle and discharged.
