DRAINING DEVICE FOR LOCAL REFRIGERATING MACHINE

PURPOSE:To effectively drop and collect the condensate of a local refrigerating machine from a drain pan to a drain tank without using a special additional device such as a drain hose. CONSTITUTION:A drain pan 3 is provided in the lower part of an evaporator 2 in a main local refrigerating machine 1 and a drain tank 6 is provided in the lower part of the exhaust port 4 of the drain pan 3. The entire periphery at the end 7 of the exhaust port 4 of weir is sharpened to have a cylindrical sharpened part 7a with an angle smaller than a contact angle with water. On the inner surface of the exhaust port 4, rectifying ribs 8 are provided. Therefore, the condensate does not splash and can be surely dropped to the drain tank 6.
