Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To increase flow resistance of fluid to reduce the amount of fluid leakage and increase compression performance by disturbing flow of a fluid flowing out of a clearance between the end face of an opening part provided in a surrounding wall of a casing, in which a gate rotor is inserted, and the gate rotor. CONSTITUTION:Multiple recessed parts 6 smaller than an end face 22 in width and independent of each other are provided distributively on an opening end face 22 on a gate rotor inserting side in a surrounding wall 2 of a casing 1 extending in parallel to the axis of a screw rotor 3 and opposed to a gate rotor 5. Thus flow of a fluid flowing out of a compressed space through a clearance between the end face 22 and the gate rotor 5 is disturbed to increase flow resistance and compression performance accordingly.
