TORQUE DETECTING DEVICE FOR AUTOMATIC THREAD TIGHTENING MACHINE

PURPOSE:To facilitate the replacement of a strain gauge by installing a lever operation part having a cut part, in the upper part of a torque detecting pipe arranged in turnable manner on a driver board and positioning one edge of a cantilever arranged in parallel to the side part of the torque detecting pipe, in the cut part of the lever operation part. CONSTITUTION:A rotary sleeve 12 which serves as torque detecting pipe at a part of a torque detecting device 11 is arranged in rotatable manner on a driver body 10, and the body side of a motor 6 and the rotary sleeve 12 turn integrally. A lever operating part 13 having a cut part 13a extending in the direction crossing with the extending direction of the rotary sleeve 12 is installed in the upper part of the rotary sleeve 12, and the top edge of a cantilever 14 is positioned at the cut part 13a. The lever operation part 13 is projected into a sensor installation case 16 from a guide window 16a. The cantilever 14 is fixed in parallel to the rotary sleeve 12 on the sensor installation case 16, and the upper edge is positioned in the cut part 13a of the lever operation part 13, and nipped by a load contact 15. A strain gauge 17 is installed on both the side surfaces of the cantilever 14, and the strain quantity generated on the cantilever 14 is detected as the tightening torque.
