COLD ACCUMULATING TYPE REFRIGERATOR

PURPOSE:To prevent the occurrence of hindrance to the heat transfer upon cold accumulation and the cooling of a cold accumulating agent caused by failure to thaw the ice formed on a cold accumulating evaporator upon releasing cold in a cold accumulating type refrigerator. CONSTITUTION:A four-way switching valve 3, a cold accumulating evaporator 7, a check valve 10 and a three-way switching valve 5 are provided in order between a condenser 2 and a main evaporator 11 in a refrigerating cycle and a first capillary tube 4 is provided between one of connection ends of the four- way switching valve 3 and the inlet side of the cold accumulating evaporator 7. A bypass circuit 20 is provided between the rest of the connection ends of the four-way switching valve 3 and a connection end of the three-way switching valve 5 and a second capillary tube 6 is provided between a connection end of the three-way switching valve 5 and the inlet side of the main evaporator 11 in order to thaw the ice formed on the cold accumulating evaporator 7 from inside upon releasing cold, whereby refrigerant is sent from the condenser 2 directly into the evaporator 7 without passing through the capillary tube 4.
