Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To provide an industrial robot having a small and lightweight moving section, high rigidity and a small installation space and capable of being operated with high precision. CONSTITUTION:Three 2-node links 3a, 5a, 3b, 5b, 3c, 5c fixed to output shafts of three motors 2a, 2b, 2c with reduction gears arranged on a fixed plate 1 to form a triangle on one end, connected to fulcrums provided at vertexes of the triangular moving plate 7 on the other end, and operated in the same plane are provided between the fixed plate 1 supported above the working area and the moving plate 7 with a tool lifting/lowering system. A pair of 2-node links 13, 15 are provided between a motor 11 with a reduction gear fixed to the fixed plate 1 and the tool lifting/lowering system of the moving plate 7 to transfer the driving force. When three motors 2a, 2b, 2c with reduction gears are individually driven, the position of the moving plate 7 in the horizontal plane and the rotation angle around the vertical shaft can be changed. When the motor 11 with a reduction gear provided on the fixed plate 1 is driven, a tool 17 is vertically moved.
