TELEVISION RECEIVER

PURPOSE:To provide a television receiver having a function automatically transmitting automatic recording information in one's absence to a video tape recorder. CONSTITUTION:When the automatic recording in one's absence of a video tape recorder 2 is performed by means of a television receiver 1, a page to which program reservation information is selected from various character information screens with a key pad part 111, the program is selected from them and a registeration command for reservation is executed. By this, a character signal processing part 104 stores the reservation information in a reservation information storage part 108. The reservation information is then transmitted to the video tape recorder 2 by a reservation information output part 109 via a system terminal 110. Within the video tape recorder, the information is stored in a reservation information storage part 207 via a reservation information input part 206. Thus, the operation of automatic recording in one's absence is completed.
