Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To reduce the size of the whole of an equipment by a method wherein orientation of a pile is measured throughout a whole area in a longitudinal direction, accurate measurement is practicable, and in addition, a quantity of light used for the measurement is decreased, and the scale of a device to emit light is reduced. CONSTITUTION:A cylinder part 3a for measuring orientation having size smaller than that of an insertion hole 8 extending between the both ends of a steel pipe pile 1 is located on the outside part of the steel pipe pile 1. The axis of the cylinder part 3a runs along the axis of the steel pipe pile 1, and the tip part of the cylinder part 3a for measuring orientation is closed. The base end part thereof is opened, and a reflection mirror 5 is disposed to the inner side of the tip part thereof.
