Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To enable beds to be manufactured according to a mass production system via the improvement of productivity, reduce the cost of beds, and increase the strength and rigidity thereof by making an integral structure comprising a plurality of independent hollow sections laid in a side board or a bed board via an injection molding process. CONSTITUTION:Roughly rectangular hollow sections 3 are arranged symmetrically, for example, at six positions of the bed board 1 of a bed 10. Also, a plurality of the predetermined independent hollow sections 4 are symmetrically provided or aligned in a side board 2 laid in an L-form. Furthermore, elastic legs 5 to absorb irregularity on the surface of a bed placement floor and an external vibration, are provided at the four predetermined positions of the bed board 1. The elastic legs 5 are so constituted that hollow sections 7 having an approximately T-form sectional area are laid at the four lower end corners of the bed board 1 and circular arc thin wall sections 6 are symmetrically so arranged as to have the same elasticity as in the case of a compression spring. The bed 10 so constituted is made of a material adaptable to injection molding, such as resin, rubber, ceramics or glass powder kneaded with the predetermined binder.
