Zusammenfassung: | PURPOSE:To attain the long life of a connecting part at the time of providing an ignition device inside an ignition coil heated to high temperature and prevent the characteristic lowering of a switching element under high temperature. CONSTITUTION:The built-in ignition device 9 of an ignition coil 1 and the terminal 2 of a connector formed integrally with the ignition coil 1 are connected to each other by welding, using a Ni-group wire 7 or a lead frame member. A power MOSFET of little characteristic lowering even under high temperature is used for the power switching element of the ignition device 9. Since the external terminal and the internal circuit are thus connected to each other by welding by the Ni-group member, the degradation of durability caused by a cold cycle is reduced to attain long life. Also, with the use of the power MOSFET for the power switching element, the characteristic lowering is little even in high temperature environment such as inside the coil so as to obtain desirable ignition performance. |
