BELL FOR AUTOMATIC PERFORMANCE

PURPOSE:To make sound quality soft by interposing damping members which have high damping rate characteristic above a specific frequency in the coupling part between the bell and an arm. CONSTITUTION:The damping members 17 and 18 which have the high damping factor characteristics are interposed in the coupling part between the bell 11 and arm 3. Namely, a rubber damper 17 as a damping member is interposed between the head wall 1A of a bell main body 11 and the opposite surface of the arm 13 which faces it and rubber 18 is also interposed between a projection 12 and the side wall of the U-shaped groove 13B of the arm 13 inserted into the projection 12. In this case, the damping members 17 and 18 damp the high frequency component of the vibration of the bell 11 as internal friction loss to cut off high frequency noises. Consequently, the sound quality can be made soft.
