Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To obtain the subject yarn dyeable to the same color as wool by applying a metallized layer on one surface of a transparent polyamide film, laminating a pair of the above laminates facing the metallized layers inward and slitting the produced laminate. CONSTITUTION:A metal such as aluminum is metallized to one surface of a transparent polyamide film such as biaxially drawn polyamide film to form a uniform metallized layer. A pair of the metallized films are laminated together facing the metallized layers inward and interposing an adhesive layer composed of urethane adhesive, etc., between the films and the obtained laminate is slit to obtain a slit yarn for the piece dyeing of wool, having high color fastness and suitable for the dyeing to a variety of colors. A resin undercoat layer is preferably applied between the polyamide film and the metallized layer.
