Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To obtain a herbicide composition for paddy field capable of using at a lower chemical amount, prolonging retaining period of killing effect on gramineous weeds and proper period for treating by combining a specific thiol carbamate-based compound with a specific hydroxybenzzlic acid derivative. CONSTITUTION:(A) S-(1-Methyl-1-phenylethyl)piperidine-1-carbothioate is used jointly with (B) at least one kind of 3,5-di-tert.-butyl-4-hydroxybenzyl derivative (e.g. 3,5-di-tert.-butyl-4-hydroxyphenylacetonitrile) expressed by the formula (X is CN, CNO or CO2R; R is H, alkali metal, ammonium ion or lower alkyl) at an amount of the ingredient B of normally 0.05-1 pts.wt., preferably 0.1-0.6 pts.wt. based on the ingredient A of 1 pt.wt. so as to suppress the decomposition of gramineous weed killing agent of active ingredient A in paddy field while retaining concentration of the ingredient A in water in high concentration to provide a herbicide composition for paddy field.
