Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To obtain the subject composition capable of giving a black make and color filter having excellent heat-resistance by compounding a reaction product of a novolak epoxy compound and an unsaturated monocarboxylic acid, a photo-polymerization initiator and a dye or pigment. CONSTITUTION:The objective composition contains (A) a reaction product produced by reacting a novolak epoxy compound (e.g. phenolic novolak epoxy resin) with an unsaturated monocarboxylic acid [e.g. (meth) acrylic acid], (B) a photo-polymerization initiator [e.g.benzoin (methyl ether)] and (C) a dye or pigment. The amounts of the components B and C are preferably 2-20 pts. wt. and 3-30 pts. wt. per 100 pts. wt. of the component A, respectively.
