SYSTEM AND DEVICE FOR DISPLAY OF DIAGNOSTIC RESULT

PURPOSE:To visually display the causes and the countermeasures of faults estimated from the symptoms related to the faults of various devices and human bodies as the diagnostic results. CONSTITUTION:A diagnosing part 1 extracts a cause having the highest possibility for a fault causing a symptom based on the symptoms received from a symptom input part 2 and by reference to a diagnostic knowledge base 3. Then the part 1 gives the identification number of the extracted cause to a video output instructing part 4. The part 4 refers to a video address storage part 6 to read out the start and stop addresses of the image corresponding to the identification number and sends these addresses to a video output part 5. The part 5 reads the images covering the start address through the stop address out of those images stored previously in the part 5 and supplies these read images to a video display part 7. A VTR on the market can be applied to the part 5.
