At this time, feed rollers 4, 5 are in a freely rotating state. It is detected whether or not both leading ends of the cut form paper 3 fed to the card stoppers 7 are in contact with the corresponding card stoppers 7 by sensors 8, 9. When the paper is detected by the sensors 8, 9, a drive roller 10 is rotated in a D-direction and, when the paper is not detected by one of or both of the sensors 8, 9, the cut form paper 3 is fed by one of or both of feed rollers provided on the side of the sensor not detecting the paper and, when the paper is detected by both sensors 8, 9, the drive roller 10 is rotated in the D-direction to feed printing paper to a printing part.
