ALUMINUM ELECTROLYTIC CAPACITOR

PURPOSE:To prevent gas of driving electrolytic solution from flowing to the outside by providing a space part above an explosion-proof valve provided to a top board part of a metallic case, by providing granular substance or porous substance to the explosion-proof valve side and by providing an absorbing material above it. CONSTITUTION:Driving electrolytic solution is impregnated into a capacitor element 1 and the capacitor element 1 is mounted inside a tubular metallic case 2 with a bottom. A pair of leads 3, 3a are led out of the capacitor element 1, and a pair of external connecting terminals 4, 4a are connected to the leads 3, 3a by calking at a part of a sealing member 5 which consists of a terminal board. the sealing member 5 is arranged at an opening part of the metallic case 2 and seals the opening part of the metallic case 2. An explosion-proof valve 6 is formed in a top board part 2a of the metallic case 2, a space part 8 is provided above it by fixing a fixing jig 7, and a granular substance 9 or a porous substance is provided to the explosion-proof valve 6 positioned inside the space part 8. A permeable absorbing material 11 for absorbing driving electrolytic solution is further provided above there.
