Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To shorten an operating time of an diffusing pump used for discharging gas from a vacuum heater in manufacturing a vacuum interrupter, where a glass insulating cylinder is used, in the vacuum heater. CONSTITUTION:An oil diffusing pump is inoperative during a time t5 to from the beginning of operation of a vacuum heater until a time P when a heater is stopped after a brazing process and inactive gas for promoting cooling is introduced. Alternatively, heating in the atmosphere where a small amount of inactive gas or H2 gas flows inhibites oxidation and allows degasification in the brazing process.
