Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To provide a carbon-based oil absorbing material which can efficiently absorb and remove any kind and any state of oils containing large amt. of viscous oils, to improve environment by absorbing and removing oils contaminating sea, rivers, soil and to effectively utilize by utilizing absorbing materials absorbed and carried oils as solid fuel to be an energy source. CONSTITUTION:This carbon-based oil absorbing material consists of porous carbonaceous granules. The porous carbonaceous granules are to preferably contain =50mum pore size distribution at the widest part and =2.0ml/g total volume of the pores, and >=300g grain crushing strength (when grain diameter is 3000mum). Said solid fuel consists of the above carbon-based oil absorbing material absorbing and carrying oil.
