NUMBER OF STORED RECORD CALCULATING SYSTEM

PURPOSE:To speedily obtain a result even when file capacity is enlarged and the number of stored records is increased. CONSTITUTION:A temporarily stored record number setting means 1 sets a prescribed initial value as the number of temporarily stored records. A temporary file capacity calculating means 2 calculates temporary file capacity required for storing the number of temporarily stored records. A file capacity comparing/ error calculating means 3 compares the temporary file capacity with existent file capacity and calculates error when the capacity is different. A temporarily stored record number correcting means 4 corrects the number of temporarily stored records corresponding to the error. The above-mentioned processing is repeated until the temporary file capacity is coincident with the existent file capacity.
