Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To make the constitution of the device simple and small in size by connecting linear motion mechanisms, which are installed in a roller device and a dynamometer device, by a connecting rod which is installed slidably in the through hole of a partition wall. CONSTITUTION:The roller device 1 and dynamometer device 2 are connected by the connecting rod 14 by using the Scott-Russel linear motion mechanisms, and moved and adjusted synchronously. The connecting rod 14 is inserted slidably into the through hole 15 bored in the partition wall 9 at a specific position. Then the device 1 is moved and adjusted as shown by an arrow A integrally with the device 2 to adjust the distance to a fixed roller device 20 and then the wheel base of a vehicle to be tested is complied with. At the time of the moving and adjusting operation, a shaft support part O3 moves along the axis of the connecting rod 14 as a shaft support part O1 moves linearly on a rail 4 on orthogonal segments O1O4 and O4O3. Therefore, the connecting rod 14 is only slid in the through hole 15 as shown by an arrow B to operate smoothly without moving in the length direction of the wall 9.
