ATM SWITCH MEMORY

PURPOSE:To realize the ATM switch memory with low power consumption and a small mount area. CONSTITUTION:The memory is provided with storage elements 11-1n writing a data of a prescribed packet length, a packet selection section 20 selecting the storage elements 11-1n, an address generating section 30 generating a data write/read address for the storage elements 11-1n selected by the packet selection section 20, a write section 40 writing a data to the storage elements 11-1n, a read section reading a data from the storage elements 11-1n and a switch 60 used to control the write/read. Thus, a packet is inputted/outputted according to designation from the selection section 20 and the generating section 30.
