TROUBLE DIAGNOSIS METHOD FOR AIR CONDITIONER

PURPOSE:To provide a system which is capable of diagnosing the causes of operation failures easily and definitely for every models of an air conditioner. CONSTITUTION:This air conditioner is provided with air conditioner main bodies 1 and 2 and a first remote controller 5 which enables dual communication with the air conditioner main bodies 1 and 2, and controls air conditioning operation in response with signals transmitted from the remote controller 5. At the same time, it is provided with the function to store the states of operational failures in the order where the troubles are generated in the air conditioner. There is also available a second remote controller 6 which enables dual communication with the air conditioner main bodies 1 and 2. The air conditioner main bodies return the record of the troubles in conformity with the signals from the second remote controllers whereas the second remote controller 6 displays the types of the troubles in conformity with the return signals.
