Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To establish a means which can surely restrain the abnormality of flow (drifted flow) of a molten metal in a mold being apt to occur at the time of executing a continuous casting while pouring the molten metal into the mold from plural pouring holes. CONSTITUTION:At the time of executing the continuous casting while pouring the molten metal (molten steel, etc.) into the mold from plural pouring holes, by changing the position of an immersion nozzle in the transverse direction of the mold based on the detected result of the abnormal condition of the molten metal flow in the above-mentioned mold to restrain the abnormal condition of the above-mentioned molten metal flow, the drifted flow of the molten metal in the mold is surely restrained. In the suitable device for this purpose, a slider plate 4 mounting a cylinder 3 for driving the slider plate is inserted between upper and lower fixed plates 1, 2 and also in a continuous casting immersion nozzle device where the immersion nozzle part 5 is fitted to a lower fixed plate 2, a slider 4, the lower fixed plate 2 and a driving cylinder 6 to move the position of a slider plate driving cylinder 3 to the transverse direction of the casting mold are used.
