RADIATION DETECTOR

PURPOSE:To simplify the electric connection of a radiation detector constituted of a plurality of detection element for radiation detection, attain proper and uniform radiation incidence into the plurality of detection elements and prevent the effect of dust and external pressure. CONSTITUTION:By providing an electro conductive pattern with electro conductive through hole plating from the side of grooves given in the center of a detector element base plate 3, detector elements 2 forming electrodes on the two surfaces facing to the groove in the detector element base plate 3 is fixed. By injecting electro conductive bond into the electro conductive through hole plate, electric connection is attained. Then, a radiation shield 14 provided with a radiation penetration hole with the same size as the length and the width of the detector element 2 is contacted and fixed at its position so that mechanical stiffness is ensured, radiation incidence intensity is made uniform and proper.
