CASSETTE INSTALLING DEVICE OF MAGNETIC RECORDING/ REPRODUCING DEVICE

PURPOSE:To improve the operation convenience of a VTR by providing a control member which is freely rotatable and does not come into contact with a cassette at the time of installing the cassette, and also, comes into contact with both side faces of the cassette in the process of the installing operation, on a cassette guide, and installing surely the cassette in the operating position. CONSTITUTION:A sub-guide 12 is detained to a shaft 13 provided on a cassette guide 7, and the guide 12 is energized by a torsion spring 14. In this case, when a cassette holder 2 is in a cassette inserting position, the guide 12 becomes a state as shown in the figure (a), and becomes a state as shown in the figure (b) when it is not in the inserting position. In such a way, an operation of the installing device is controlled, and when a cassette 1 is inserted into the inserting port, it is guided to the cassette holder 2 by using a guide 8, allowed to abut on louvers 2a, 2b and pushed in the A direction, and by rotating a wiper arm 5, the cassette 1 is moved from the inserting position to the operating position. Thereafter, positioning holes 11a, 11b of the cassette 1 are sunk into a positioning pin 10.
